MY DRUG

I’m fighting for you

Can’t you see that unremitting bounce

Needs your touch to flourish

In more ways than one

Shattered glasses that held our dreams

Blood strips from my limbs

Dried tears all over

Haunting my dreams

And bleeding with every step you take

An outer laugh clowning over

With a fair, subtle smile

Who can guess my pain?

The man in the mask stares

Maybe he can see my heart on my sleeve?

Can he read my demeanor?

That i’m a hostage to you

To your embrace, i drown

Even in pain…

I see writing as a way to the inner mind. I do mostly poems, short stories and a little bit of lifestyle stories here and there too.
